With battery metal projects advancing to meet anticipated demand from electric vehicles, Wheaton Precious Metals’ CEO Randy Smallwood sees an opportunity.
“When it comes to copper and nickel, they usually come with healthy, non-core, by-product of precious metals,” said Smallwood who spoke to Kitco on Friday.
On Thursday Wheaton Precious Metals (NYSE:WPM) record quarterly revenue of $330 million during the second quarter. Wheaton declared a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per common share representing the fourth quarterly dividend increase in a row and a 50% increase relative to Q2 2020.
