Lab-grown diamonds are not competitive to natural – Lucara Diamond


Lab-grown diamonds and natural diamonds are not really rivals since each sell into different marketplaces, said Lucara Diamond (TSX:LUC) CEO Eira Thomas on Tuesday.

“Lab-grown diamonds certainly have a place. They’re not necessarily more sustainable diamonds,” said Thomas. “We have to do a better job as a natural-diamond mining industry of telling our story.”
