In this video I talk about low silver supply and the divergence between silver premiums and silver spot price. Silver spot price is up today as the inflation numbers for September were recently released and this inflation is no longer being called transitory. Silver premiums for physical bullion are climbing and this is due to low supply of these products. I was not able to find silver from my normal supplier because they were sold out! We have seen the premiums for physical silver diverge from the spot price before and it appears that is happening again! Some people think that these silver premiums are too high and they are wondering why silver premiums are so high as well. Gold and silver premiums largely change due to supply and demand. Silver eagle premiums and junk silver premiums appear to be very high right now. Hopefully these premiums will come down again in the future.
