Silver spot price fluctuates throughout the day except between 5PM ET and 6PM ET every day as well as over the weekend between Friday at 5PM ET and Sunday at 6PM ET. I explain why it is very hard to buy silver at spot price and also haw the silver spot price is determined. The silver spot price is determined by the future contracts and is the price that raw silver can be purchased at by mints.
