In this video I talk to a bullion dealer and coin shop owner about fake graded silver coins. We show 3 different silver coins that appear to be graded and in legitimate slabs, but they are completely fake. These fake silver coins are in PCGS holders although the coins on the PCGS website do not match the coins in the slabs. Fake silver and fake gold coins are becoming a huge problem. If you cannot even trust certified and graded coins then what can you trust? One way to check to see if your graded silver or graded gold coins are real is by comparing the coins to the ones on the website. If the coin in the slab does not match the coin on the website then it is not real or at least not the grade it claims to be. Some people will swap out a lower graded coin for a higher graded coin.
