In this coin dealer video Harry shows how to remove milk spots from silver coins using a jeweler’s cloth. Milk spots are small white spots that can appear on silver coins. Silver coins get milk spots because of the detergent used in the cleaning process before the coins were annealed. The detergent is baked into the coins which later down the road causes milk spots. If you want to remove milk spots from your silver coins only do it with bullion. Do not attempt this with any rare coins or coins with numismatic value.
